I'm using NAT, and my host computer is, like yours, WiFi. I've also attached my setup for the Guest in the GUI.
I did the upgrade for this using the Media Creation Tool that others on this forum suggested using. Go to Network Settings -> Change Adapter settings, and the ethernet is disabled, but also, if I do properties, its empty (see attached image). įrom Device Manager in Windows 10 Guest, I uninstalled the ethernet and reinstalled it. have also tried it on a Yosemite system I have, just in case it was El Capitan related. updated extpack, as well as Guest Additions. Now, I know others have this working, so figure there is something that should be obvious that I'm missing. I found this article ( ) talking about disabling IPv6 on the Mac side. If I right click on the device and go to Properties. right click and click 'Enable', a window pops up that goes from "Enabling" -> "Enabled" and then disappears. Go into Network Settings -> Change Adapter Options, it shows the Device as Disabled. This is after I had to "Re-install Driver". Go into Device Manager, the Device says "This device is working properly", and if I right click on it, it says it is Enabled.
